Job Summary
Supporting the Group Protection team in a remote environment, the full-time Claims Customer Care Associate will manage claimant calls regarding group insurance products, providing education and next steps while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with 50-60 customers daily, answering questions and providing information about their claims
- Educate customers on product details, focusing on FMLA and disability claims, while ensuring accurate documentation
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance team performance and quality of service
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday between 8:00am to 8:00pm EST
- Internet bandwidth of at least 12 Mbps, with a preference for 25 Mbps
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with data entry and research tasks
