Claims Eligibility Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Eligibility Specialist - Part-Time - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Adjudicate and process fee-for-service claims
• Handle billing and eligibility inquiries
• Perform other assigned billing duties as directed by the Billing Unit supervisor

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of medical billing, including completion of CMS 1500
• Basic understanding of state Medicaid
• Typing speed of 40-50 words per minute
• Ability to work as part of a team
