Claims Examiner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner to handle commercial and personal auto claims in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve casualty claims in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
• Determine coverage, liability, and damages through thorough analysis and documentation
• Negotiate auto material damage and other property damage claims related to casualty claims

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in handling casualty claims
• Strong working knowledge of policy language and claims settlement principles
• Successful completion of IIA and/or AIC program studies
• Working towards, or completion of, CPCU designation
