Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time hourly capacity, the Claims Examiner will process medical, dental, and vision claims while interpreting plan documents and providing customer service support to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Process and analyze claims to determine eligibility and manage workload effectively
• Provide timely responses to inquiries from clients and internal teams regarding claims and plan details
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and participate in process improvement initiatives

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Medical Billing and Coding preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in clerical and customer service roles required
• Claims or Medical Office experience preferred
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
