Job Summary
Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time salaried Claims Examiner I will support a federal claims management program by conducting claims intake, investigation, research, and case administration activities, with the option to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct initial intake and review of affirmative claims cases and related documentation
- Request and obtain necessary supporting documentation, including police and medical records
- Communicate professionally with claimants, insurance representatives, and legal personnel
Required qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of professional experience in claims processing, insurance operations, or legal support
- Experience with insurance companies or claims organizations preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance
