Job Summary
Assessing claim information and processing insurance claims, the full-time Claims Examiner I will work remotely to handle complicated claims, perform research and adjustments, and communicate with external parties for coverage coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Processes claims for multiple products or claim types, including dental, hospital, and medical
- Conducts research and adjustments for claims while responding to inquiries from customers
- Completes special projects and performs complex transactions related to FEP claims
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of customer service, member services, or claims processing experience
- Advanced keyboarding knowledge
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
