Claims Examiner I or II

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the hybrid or remote Claims Examiner I or II will analyze and secure claim information to determine the approval or denial of claims related to Life, Annuity, and Cancer products while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and process claims by reviewing documentation and verifying beneficiary eligibility for payments
• Communicate with claimants, health providers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for claims adjudication
• Perform detailed analysis and documentation of claims data to ensure accurate outcomes and compliance with risk management standards

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education/work experience
• Knowledge of WoodmenLife products and Core Operations systems, policies, and procedures
• In-depth problem-solving capabilities with the ability to detect discrepancies and trends
• Proficiency in claims processing for Life and Health preferred for Claims Examiner II
• Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain confidentiality and professionalism
