Job Summary
Claims Examiner II, a full-time position responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving property damage and bodily injury claims under insurance contracts, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate assigned claims, coordinating with independent adjusters and ensuring compliance with claims handling regulations
- Analyze coverage and determine the rights and obligations under insurance contracts, coordinating with the Legal Department as necessary
- Establish and manage case reserves, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate documentation of claims processes and communications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- One or more years of work experience in claims examination or a related field
- Knowledge of insurance contracts and claim procedures
- Familiarity with loss evaluation methods and claim resolution alternatives
- Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses and certifications
