Claims Follow Up Representative

A company is looking for a Claims Follow Up Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process patient bills and follow up on 3rd party claims to ensure timely reimbursement
• Analyze claims for accuracy and contact insurers to secure payments
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA guidelines and report trends in payment discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Knowledge of 3rd party billing including ICD, CPT, HCPCS, UB, and HCFA 1505 claim form
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in medical collections or billing preferred
• Ability to establish work plans based on priorities and procedures
• No supervisory responsibility required
