Claims Insights Analyst

Job Summary

As a full-time Claims Insights Analyst on the Claims Trends & Insights team, the successful candidate will conduct investigative analysis, monitor trends, and provide actionable insights to operational and strategic leaders within assigned claims domains, utilizing SQL, Python, and Tableau in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own ongoing trend monitoring and investigative analysis for an assigned claims domain, becoming the team's go-to expert
• Investigate data drivers and present findings with clear options and recommendations to stakeholders
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with operational leaders and contribute to advanced analytical capabilities exploration

Required qualifications

• Experience in a corporate data or analytics setting, preferably in insurance or a regulated industry
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with large datasets, with Snowflake experience preferred
• Proficiency in Tableau or PowerBI for clear visual communication, with relevant certification a plus
• Working proficiency in Python for data analysis and a solid foundation in applied statistics
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for producing credible briefing materials
