Job Summary

Reviewing claim requirements for initial and continuation claims, the full-time Claims Intake Specialist will assist Care Managers and Care Coordinators while providing quality customer service to policyholders, their representatives, and providers.

Key responsibilities
  • Review internal databases, client guidelines, and policy contract language to determine claim requirements
  • Contact insured individuals or providers to request information needed for processing benefit inquiries
  • Maintain clear documentation of all claim intake activities within required databases
Required qualifications
  • Experience in claims processing or insurance administration
  • Familiarity with policy contract language and client guidelines
  • Ability to meet quality and production metrics
  • Proficiency in using internal databases for documentation
  • Strong customer service skills in a professional setting
