Job Summary
Reviewing claim requirements for initial and continuation claims, the full-time Claims Intake Specialist will assist Care Managers and Care Coordinators while providing quality customer service to policyholders, their representatives, and providers.
Key responsibilities
- Review internal databases, client guidelines, and policy contract language to determine claim requirements
- Contact insured individuals or providers to request information needed for processing benefit inquiries
- Maintain clear documentation of all claim intake activities within required databases
Required qualifications
- Experience in claims processing or insurance administration
- Familiarity with policy contract language and client guidelines
- Ability to meet quality and production metrics
- Proficiency in using internal databases for documentation
- Strong customer service skills in a professional setting
