Claims Investigator

Job Summary

Investigating and resolving claims, the full-time Claims Investigator will analyze P&C insurance claims for validity, negotiate settlements, and ensure compliance while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve low to moderate complexity Personal and Commercial Lines claims
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, claimants, and attorneys
• Manage active files, ensuring accurate reserving and compliance with audit guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience handling auto and general liability/property damage claims is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly across multiple functional areas
• Proven track record of managing priorities in fast-paced settings
• Associate in General Insurance and/or Associate in Claims designation is a plus
