Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Manager to lead the Claims team in the U.S. Benefits department.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and direct claims processors to achieve service performance and retention targets
- Supervise team members, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Manage processes for efficiency, support business initiatives, and identify process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of management and medical insurance claims experience (or 6 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree)
- Current knowledge of health information technologies and their applications
- Working knowledge of CPT, ADA, HCPCs, ICD-10 codes, and insurance regulations
- Experience with budget management and processing metrics
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work with matrix partners
