Job Summary

Claims Manager is a full-time position responsible for coordinating and managing investigations of potential claims, evaluating liability exposure, and supporting litigation processes within the risk management department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and disseminate loss runs and monthly reports while communicating with excess carriers
  • Support in-house counsel on various claims and participate in the Claims Committee
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and claims, and respond to discovery requests in litigated claims
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of three years of related experience in Insurance/Claims management
  • Experience in healthcare claim administration preferred
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding claims
  • Ability to utilize management tools and foster claims standardization
