Job Summary

Supervising and coordinating the activities of various claims functions, the full-time Claims Manager will manage property, casualty, and workers compensation claims while overseeing staff performance and vendor programs in a virtual environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Directs and manages multiple claims functions, ensuring effective oversight of claims management and reserve adequacy
  • Trains, coaches, and leads staff while preparing performance appraisals and conducting review meetings
  • Manages vendor programs providing claims services, including independent adjusters and medical cost containment
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or four to six years of related experience and/or training
  • Proven experience in managing claims functions, including oversight of reserves and settlements
  • Ability to work legally in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Experience in training and leading teams within a claims environment
  • Strong understanding of operational plans and procedures related to claims management
