Claims Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Manager to oversee insurance claims for personal, property, or casualty loss based on coverage, appraisal, and verifiable damage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical guidance on unusual or complex claim cases
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex claims
• Interview claimants and witnesses, gather information, and prepare reports for claim evaluation

Required Qualifications:

• State Adjuster License (preferred)
• Experience in managing insurance claims
• Ability to make decisions under conditions of uncertainty
• Strong negotiation and settlement skills
• Experience working with attorneys and expert witnesses to defend insurer's position
