Claims Manager - Auto Insurance

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Claims Manager - Auto Insurance, this role will supervise a team handling Commercial Auto and Motor Carrier bodily injury claims, focusing on coaching, technical development, and ensuring timely resolution of claims while working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and manages a team of claims professionals to ensure quality and timely resolution of complex bodily injury claims
• Oversees all aspects of claims handling, including reserving, communication, documentation, and litigation management
• Conducts regular quality audits and manager reviews to ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of team leadership experience in liability insurance claims
• Minimum of five (5) years of bodily injury claims experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Valid claims adjuster's license in appropriate jurisdictions or ability to obtain one
• Thorough understanding of tort and contract laws and principles of liability insurance
