Claims Manager - Risk Management

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Manager - Risk and Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage liability claims and evaluate legal liability and causation to set financial reserves
• Assign and work with defense counsel to manage claims and determine trial or resolution paths
• Conduct insurance coverage analysis and collaborate with Loss Prevention on potential claims

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a similar field (required)
• 3 years handling Professional Liability Claims or equivalent experience (required)
• 5 years Claims Processing experience (preferred)
• Associate in Claims (AIC) Certification or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) preferred
• Mediation training or experience in negotiating high-value complex claims
