Claims Operations Executive

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Claims to lead its claims function and manage risk operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the comprehensive claims strategy for rideshare operations and corporate programs
• Oversee the claims provider landscape, ensuring operational excellence through stringent SLAs and audits
• Manage high-exposure casualty claims and collaborate with Legal on litigation strategies and reserving practices

Qualifications

• 15+ years of leadership experience in Claims Operations, Risk Management, or Insurance Strategy, particularly in commercial auto and general liability
• Deep expertise in complex casualty litigation, reserving methodologies, and actuarial concepts
• Extensive experience managing external carrier and TPA relationships with a focus on compliance and cost containment
• Proven ability to innovate and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on claims technologies and automated workflows
• Bachelor's degree required; JD, MBA, or advanced insurance designations preferred
