Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee claims adjudication and assist in the absence of the Claims Supervisor
- Support training, mentoring, and coaching of Claims Operations staff
- Act as a subject matter expert for escalated claims issues and coordinate system testing
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Three or more years of experience in a managed care claims environment
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT4, HCPCS, ICD10 coding sets, and HIPAA regulations
- Ability to maintain production levels and quality goals
- Pre-employment background check required
