Claims Payable Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager, Claims Payable to oversee claims payments and manage a team in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the claims payables team to ensure accurate and efficient claims processing
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance claims processing workflows and ensure compliance with value-based care models
• Prepare reports on claims processing performance and conduct audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management with a proven track record
• 3+ years of management experience leading a team
• Certification in medical coding preferred (e.g., CPC, CPB, or RHIA)
• Strong understanding of CMS claims processes and experience with ACOs and related programs
