Claims Payment Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Payment Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to complex tasks within the claims platform
• Interface with system architects and corporate staff on benefit and contract updates
• Support resolution of issues related to system projects

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of claims processing or system set-up experience, preferably in managed care
• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• General knowledge of provider contracts, fee schedules, and payment methodologies
• Knowledge of health plan benefit interpretation and set up
• Knowledge of current compliance legislation
