Job Summary

To support the claims organization, the full-time Claims Payment Processor will calculate and issue Short-Term Disability payments remotely, utilizing Excel tools and knowledge of policy provisions while maintaining accurate documentation and communication with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Establish and document complex payments in the system, ensuring accurate tracking of claims
  • Communicate with employers and claimants to gather necessary financial data for benefit calculations
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with guidelines
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in a financial services environment related to claims processing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
