Claims Posting Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring accurate payment postings and account balancing, the full-time Claims Posting Specialist will work remotely, managing medical claims, adjustments, and refunds while adhering to productivity and accuracy standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical claims for correct payment postings and balanced buckets
• Pull and post EOBs and upload ERAs to the hospital HIS under the correct payer
• Notate accounts in the health information system and ensure ERA and payment match

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of claims processing and resolution
• Knowledge of medical terminology, billing standards, and data analysis
• Experience with Health Information Systems such as Epic or Cerner
• Ability to type at least 45 wpm and achieve 8000+ kph on a ten key
• Customer service experience and good time management skills
