Claims Processing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Processor who will review invoices and pet medical documents to determine coverage in compliance with policy guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review individual policies to determine eligibility with high accuracy
• Contact internal departments and veterinary staff to ensure compliance with guidelines
• Enter data into claims systems and issue claim decisions to pet parents

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of recent clinical veterinary experience as a veterinary assistant, technician, or veterinarian
• Knowledge of veterinary terms, medical conditions, and associated treatments
• Ability to read and interpret medical records
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate Windows OS and Google Chrome
