Job Summary
Managing daily assignments and work queues, the full-time remote Claims Processing Supervisor will ensure timely resolution of claims and accurate billing while overseeing staff performance and operational efficiency during night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM Eastern Time.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborates with the 3rd Party Claims Manager to set associate and departmental goals while monitoring performance metrics
- Assigns daily work and manages the quality of claims processing performed by associates
- Handles escalated customer and payer calls, ensuring proper resolution and compliance with operational standards
Required qualifications
- Associates degree or equivalent experience (4+ years) required
- 3+ years of direct supervisory experience in a relevant field
- Experience with long-term care adjudication is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Office Products, particularly Excel and Word
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations
