Claims Processor

Job Summary

Processing MVH overseas claims from receipt through resolution, the full-time Foreign Claims Processor will ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines while working remotely and managing claims development, coordination of benefits, and eligibility verification.

Key responsibilities

• Process various types of overseas claims and resolve errors identified by the edit system
• Research and verify claims information to ensure all requirements are met
• Review and select appropriate procedure and diagnosis codes using relevant coding manuals

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• U.S. citizenship due to Department of Defense restrictions
• One or more years of experience in a claims processing role
• Proficiency in data entry with a strong focus on accuracy
• Ability to utilize resources for researching and verifying claims
