Claims Processor I

Job Summary

Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of claims, the part-time Claims Processor I will work remotely, managing claim research, resolution of errors, and coordination with internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Research and process claims according to business regulations and internal standards, verifying coding accuracy
• Resolve system edits and claims errors through research and investigative sources
• Coordinate with internal departments to update patient and provider information as necessary

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Basic business math skills
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare or insurance environment preferred
