Claims Processor III

Job Summary

To support accurate claims processing, the full-time telecommuting Claims Processor III will review, research, and resolve moderate to complex claims while serving as a technical subject matter expert and collaborating with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review, research, and resolve claims in accordance with contracts and policies using reference materials and online tools
• Act as the technical subject matter expert by training and auditing trainee claims and providing feedback and support
• Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers through effective communication, including making and receiving calls

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• One (1) year of claims processing or customer service experience
• Understanding of Out-of-area programs
• Experience with in-team focused audits
