Claims Recovery Analyst
Job Summary
Performing financial reconciliation on liquidated loans, the full-time remote Claims Recovery Analyst will identify recovery opportunities, conduct loss analysis, and communicate findings to external investors.
Key responsibilities
- Reconcile loan advances and maintain updates in LoanServ
- Research incurred losses to determine responsibility and identify bill back opportunities
- Provide detailed written explanations for decisioned losses and analyze data to support accurate summaries
Required qualifications
- High School diploma required; Associate/Bachelor Degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Two or more years of mortgage servicing experience in default-related areas such as Foreclosure or Loss Mitigation
- Strong background in financial and loss analysis with the ability to complete financial reconciliations
- Moderate computer skills with MS Word and Excel
- Previous experience with FHA, VA, USDA, and PMI claims preferred
