Claims Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Recovery Specialist responsible for processing claims overpayments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process identified claims overpayments in a timely and accurate manner
• Generate and communicate overpayment recovery letters to providers
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve claims payment errors and track recovery efforts

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in claims examining, preferably in a Medicare Advantage setting
• 2+ years of experience in claims overpayment recovery
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in healthcare management preferred
• Knowledge of claims processing systems and claims coding requirements
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office products
