Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Refund and Coordination of Benefits (COB) Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and process claims associated with refunds, ensuring accurate logging of details
- Verify and update member records for Coordination of Benefits
- Ensure compliance with desk procedures and HIPAA/PHI guidelines
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; related experience may substitute for education
- 6 months to 1-year experience in managed care insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid is required
- Familiarity with insurance concepts such as co-pays and coordination of benefits
- Basic understanding of medical forms and medical terminology
