Claims Representative I (PA Licensed)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Inside Claims Representative I.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigates and adjudicates liability and property claims, ensuring compliance with state laws
• Documents claim files and collaborates with other departments for efficient claims processing
• Evaluates and negotiates claims, recognizing subrogation opportunities and issuing payments as necessary

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
• Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) preferred
• Must obtain appropriate state licenses within specified time frames
• Must live within 50 miles of the branch office
