Claims Representative License Required

Job Summary

Handling liability and property claims remotely, the full-time Inside Claims Representative I will investigate and adjudicate claims, ensuring compliance with insurance laws and regulations, while obtaining necessary information and maintaining communication with all parties involved; a Claims Representative License is required.

Key responsibilities

• Investigates and adjudicates claims, verifying coverage and establishing reserves
• Evaluates and negotiates claims, recognizing subrogation opportunities and processing payments
• Maintains knowledge of state liability laws and responds to inquiries from various stakeholders

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related claims handling or customer service experience
• Successful completion of Introduction to Insurance (INTRO) and Introduction to Claims (AIC 30) preferred
• Ability to obtain necessary licenses as required by state within specified timeframe
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred
