Claims Review Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time hourly Claims Correspondence Review Specialist will assist with inquiries and resolve issues related to claims by performing research, interpreting plan documents, and ensuring timely claim processing.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze claims processing and eligibility based on plan documents
• Respond to inquiries via email and phone, managing shared mailboxes and ensuring timely follow-up
• Collaborate with the Claims Examiner to address and resolve claims processing issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of claims examiner and/or customer service experience
• Proficient 10-key and typing skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
