Job Summary
Serving as the primary point of contact for reported incidents and claims, the full-time Claims Service Associate will manage the intake, triage, and system setup of claims while providing professional customer service and supporting workflow coordination in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Gather, review, and document comprehensive First Notice of Loss (FNOL) information and supporting documentation for claims
- Analyze incoming reports for severity and urgency, escalating complex matters to Claims Management as needed
- Perform limited claims handling and maintain precise system data while tracking intake metrics and processing regulatory reporting
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or insurance coursework preferred
- Three to five years of experience in administrative, customer service, claims, or related analytical roles
- Insurance experience preferred, particularly in medical malpractice or professional liability
- Knowledge of basic coverage principles and claim processes preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook required, with strong typing skills preferred
