Job Summary
Providing empathetic and high-quality service, the full-time remote Claims Service Center Associate will be the first point of contact for policyholders, agents, and claimants, handling new claims, answering inquiries, and coordinating services during challenging situations.
Key responsibilities
- Handle First Notice of Loss (FNOL) calls and emails, ensuring accurate claim intake and setup
- Respond to claim inquiries from agents, policyholders, and claimants, providing information on claim status and related questions
- Document claim activity and customer interactions within the claim system, while collaborating with the Claims team to enhance service quality
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency; associate degree preferred
- Two years of business or insurance experience, preferably in claims or customer service
- Inbound call center experience preferred
- Insurance or customer service coursework or designations preferred
- Good knowledge of insurance and claim terminology
