Claims Settlement Negotiator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Settlement Negotiator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer calls from providers regarding payment amounts on claims handled by the company
• Create payment negotiation documents using proprietary programs and transmit them
• Analyze medical claims and negotiate claims/bills as required

Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree preferred
• Three or more years of experience in healthcare collections, billing, or claim negotiations
• Demonstrated success in a sales or contract negotiations setting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Background in healthcare collections, provider billing, retail, or sales is beneficial
