Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working on a contract basis for over 6 months, the Claims Specialist will manage a full range of claims and correspondence to meet internal and external client expectations while ensuring adherence to service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Follow written procedures and scripts for claim processing
• Utilize proprietary software tools to review claim documents and enter decisions
• Create escalations as necessary to address claim-related issues

Required qualifications

• Experience in claims processing or a related field
• Familiarity with proprietary software tools for claims management
• Ability to adhere to service level agreements
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims simultaneously
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a relevant field is a plus
