Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Claims Specialist will manage the full range of claims and correspondence to ensure client satisfaction while adhering to departmental standards and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilizes proprietary software tools to review claim documents, enter decisions, and escalate issues as needed
• Communicates obstacles to leadership and meets departmental expectations for accuracy and productivity
• Follows written procedures for data entry and verification to ensure compliance with standards

Required qualifications:

• GED or High School Diploma
• 1-3 years of experience in claims processing or related fields
• Strong analytical skills for data assessment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic system/application navigation
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
