Job Summary
Providing high-level customer service, the full-time remote Claims Specialist will manage inbound and outbound communications, create and review claims, and facilitate the repair process for furniture while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer and retailer inquiries throughout the claims process, including determining coverage and authorizing services
- Review and monitor open claims, proactively following up to facilitate claim closure
- Provide guidance on the retailer portal and process inbound calls, documenting updates and required follow-up actions
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Successful completion of existing training related to claims processing
- Proficiency in computer and keyboard skills
- Ability to adapt to new procedures and changes in the work environment
- Experience in customer service roles, particularly in claims management
