Claims Specialist for EMS Billing

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounts Resolution / Claims Specialist Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and resolve claims that are pending, denied, or incorrectly paid by insurance carriers
• Address claims by locating deposit information and completing basic credentialing updates with insurance companies
• Handle correspondence related to EMS lockbox, including denial EOBs and patient invoices

Required Qualifications

• Experience with insurance billing and claims processing
• Strong computer skills, including basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to manage a high volume of work and meet tight deadlines
• Understanding of insurance claims and coordination of benefits
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
