Job Summary
A company is looking for a Claims Specialist I.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve medical claims that are not automatically adjudicated by the claims processing system
- Conduct additional investigation or communication to complete the claim
- Stay current with changing processing procedures, benefits, and system modifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years of college coursework or one year of related office experience
- Pass company proficiency test: Claims Assessment
- Demonstrate clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to access relevant computer systems and screens for claim processing
