Claims Specialist II

Job Summary

Analyzing and resolving insurance claims, the full-time Claims Specialist II will investigate coverage and liability issues, negotiate settlements, and collaborate with business partners in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and evaluate claims to develop appropriate strategies and manage reserves
• Provide comprehensive coverage analysis and resolution strategies for claims
• Deliver exceptional customer service through effective interactions with insured parties and legal counsel

Required Qualifications:

• College degree preferred; Juris Doctorate desired
• Two to four years of claims handling experience, with prior experience directing defense counsel
• Ability to acquire required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within designated timeframes
• Specific knowledge in management liability and specialty lines of insurance preferred
• Familiarity with various types of insurance policies and relevant regulations
