Claims Specialist II - Property

Job Summary

Claims Specialist II - Property, a full-time position, is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving moderate severity property damage claims while managing vendor performance and building relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handles claims in compliance with company quality standards, including those involving litigation
• Manages the work and performance of vendors to successfully resolve claims
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with insureds to gather and share pertinent information

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:

• Undergraduate degree preferred, with additional education in a specific line of business possibly required
• Must acquire required Federal and/or state licenses/registrations within designated timeframes
• Two to three years of property claims handling experience or comparable education preferred
• Commercial claims property experience preferred
• Familiarity with various types of insurance policies preferred
