Claims Specialist III

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Priority Claims Specialist III.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely payment for services and maintain compliance with relevant laws and policies
• Utilize billing and collections systems to resolve unpaid, short paid, or denied claims
• Communicate effectively with insurance companies and internal partners regarding accounts receivable issues

Required Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• 5+ years of related experience in insurance reimbursement, medical policy, or patient collection laws
• Experience in a medical office setting
• Preferred experience with NextGen and/or OnBase
• Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes
