Job Summary

Working on a hybrid schedule, the full-time Claims Specialist - Texas will manage the preparation of billing data, submit invoices, and collect on unpaid claims while collaborating with team members to ensure compliance with agency standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare billing data for payer submissions and maintain compliance with contractual provisions
• Submit invoices, apply payments, and collect on unpaid claims
• Enter information into databases for record keeping and identify process improvement opportunities

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant equivalent experience
• 1-3+ years of experience in office, business, operations, customer service, or healthcare
• Previous experience working with insurance portals is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
