Claims Submission Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Submissions Specialist to support the claims submission process and maintain positive relationships with practice teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and escalate problem accounts and trends in claim issues
• Update patient account records and correct coding or clinical documentation errors
• Provide training assistance to team members as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years' experience in Dental Billing/Coding
• Solid background with commercial insurance companies
• Proven understanding of Explanation of Benefits forms and the insurance billing process
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Open Dental and Microsoft Office products
