Claims Supervisor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Supervisor in Management Ancillary Services (CMAS).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage claim processing functions, ensuring adherence to benefit plans and quality standards
• Educate and mentor claims staff, establishing performance plans and providing feedback for improvement
• Develop policies and procedures for claims administration and report on claim metrics to department leaders

Required Qualifications

• 5 years or more experience in healthcare claims administration, preferably in a self-funded environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills with supervisory experience
• Thorough understanding of insurance policies and claims handling processes
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with automated claim adjudication systems is preferred
