Claims Supervisor

Job Summary

Supervising claims processing operations, the full-time Claims Supervisor will manage staff, ensure compliance with production standards, and implement improvements while working remotely, preferably from the Central Time Zone.

Key responsibilities

• Provides day-to-day supervision of operations and staff to meet production standards and regulatory requirements
• Controls and monitors claims inventory while resolving complex or escalated issues
• Identifies problem areas and implements improvements in systems, training, and business processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or health care administration or related field
• 7 years of progressive health insurance operations experience, preferably in claims review and overpayment recovery
• Strong knowledge of claims operations, adjudication, and medical terminology
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Equivalent education and experience directly related to the role may substitute for a degree
